Alain Jaume family history

Rooted in the north of Châteauneuf du Pape, the JAUME family has been perpetuating the winegrowing profession since 1826.

Our origins

In the 14th century, during their stay in Avignon, the Popes had the pontifical château built in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Seduced by the exceptional terroir, they developed the vineyards.

Philosophy

"Know-how" and "terroir" are our heritage, our only real assets.

It's essential to preserve them.

Winemaking

Harvesting at Domaine Grand Veneur takes about 1 month. The bunches are carefully sorted by plot, and only the finest grapes are kept.
