In the 14th century, during their stay in Avignon, the Popes had the pontifical château built in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Seduced by the exceptional terroir, they developed the vineyards.

Rooted in the northern part of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the JAUME family has been perpetuating the winegrowing profession since 1826.

This profession is a heritage, but above all it's a passion. It requires both rigor and perseverance in the face of nature's demands. 

As craftsmen serving the great terroirs of the southern Rhône Valley, our ambition is to produce intense wines, wines with character, wines with authentic tastes.

Our labels are stamped "Alain JAUME", with humility and pride, to assure you of our constant commitment to your satisfaction.
