Domaine du Clos de Sixte

In 2003, the family bet on the very promising potential of another magnificent terroir: LIRAC.

Thus was born the "Domaine du Clos de Sixte". This is one of the most southerly appellations in the Rhône Valley, a few kilometers opposite Châteauneuf du Pape. The plateaus are very similar to those of Châteauneuf du Pape, since millions of years ago, the Rhône River built up the subsoil on the left (Châteauneuf du Pape) and right (Lirac) banks, depositing sandy clays and the famous galets roulés. The estate has been organically farmed since 2009. It comprises 30 hectares of vines, mainly in the Plateau de Vallongue area.
